SIN

Sin is humanity's revolt against God's perfect and holy nature. It includes our ideas, words, and acts that violate His commands and fall short of His righteousness standard. Because of Adam and Eve's disobedience, sin entered the world, and all humans inherit a sinful nature. It divides us from God and has consequences in both this life and the eternal. God, on the other hand, offers forgiveness and redemption through Jesus Christ. We can overcome sin and live a life that honors and pleases God by admitting our sinfulness, seeking God's grace, and depending on the power of the Holy Spirit.
